ETHICAL ENTERPRISE
At the Pedrollo Group we think the time has come to spread the concept of the Ethical Enterprise and to support it world-wide. To move this idea forward we have been promoting a new initiative to which we have given the name Pedrollo4People.
One of the biggest global challenges posed to humanity by a future that is fast becoming present is managing the scarcity of water, an inestimable but limited resource. It is calculated that only somewhere between 9,000 and 14,000 cubic kilometres of water, equal to around 0.001% of the total water present on our planet, is actually available for use by humans.
As far as we are concerned we cannot be mere onlookers, nor do we want to be. Being a socially responsible enterprise means helping to make water accessible in every part of the world, especially where this resource is rare and precious.
We have arrived at this awareness starting from two premises:
- Pedrollo SpA is a company specialised in the production and distribution of electric pumps for water conveyance.
- Water is a good that belongs to everyone and must be made available to humanity: access to it is a right, in the amounts and quality necessary and indispensable for life and economic activities.
Today all of us, Pedrollo collaborators active in Italy and abroad, accept this challenge and make it our own.
PROGRESS MUST CONTINUE AND KNOWLEDGE
MUST NEVER BE SUPPRESSED.
